                                WHY SOCCER MATTERS

Soccer is matters because it has changed so many people's minds and life, playing soccer makes a lot of people so important where they come from. A lot of us like to supper stars in playing soccer but we don't know it started from
Here is  a man named Pele who is known as the most soccer player in the world ,he was the was named the star because he would make goals and do anything with the ball.
In the book of why soccer matters it tells where soccer started from and the first country to win world cup and the year it was this book tells us where the first world cup took from. When we talk about world cup it mean all the countries in the world come and play soccer and the country that wins is given a golden cup and and some money.  Because i love soccer and i play it this made me to love this book.
At the 1950 World cup, it was especially obvious that spot was only one part of the story, For the first time but certainly not the last Brazilian politicians saw the tournament and most people this made me to love soccer more

barbarous

this book is about the following of the lord and his creation of a better life after passing there are those who believe in it like barbarous who ends up with faith in god and follows him till death and his recreation of a passing life and those who choose to believe he's just lying and he's just a mistake a child who was born of another father and not of the holly spirit. on the way barbarous follow jeasus and finds more like him and make  him have a stronger faith in god and learns more till the crusification and even after to his death people around him told him on the 3rd day he will rise again to judge the living and the dead this book is really for those who believe in god and believe in another passing life in heaven or hell.

The book that I am reading is The Game I'll Never Forget by Chris McDonell. I am still reading the same book from the last blog post. I have read many great stories like players such as Bart Starr, Franco Harris and Joe Theismann.
I really liked Bart Starr's most memorable game when he talks about the 1967 NFL championship game. It was the Packers Vs. the Dallas Cowboys. The Packers were winning most of the game, and then the Cowboys scored late to take the lead. Bart Starr then drove the packers down the field, and with little time left on the clock Bart Starr ran it in for the win defeating the Cowboys 21-17. Franco Harris also had a great story about Super Bowl XIII his Steelers where playing the Cowboys. It wasn't a very close game until the end of the game when the Cowboys made a good push for a comeback but fell short 35-31.
Overall I like this book. This has great information on sports history that you can't find in a lot of places. Although I find this to be a great book, I would probably only recommend this to someone who loves sports and the history of sports. So if you like sports give this book a chance.

With the old breed

In this chaotic, and gripping story; the lives of many soldiers depended on their knowledge from boot camp. Sledge (main character) goes on a big rant talking about how he was not cut out for school. At the end of that scenario, he said that he was sent straight to boot camp after his commander caught him skipping out on school.
When he arrives at the camp, he is faced with many challenges along with intense advice that will save his life in the battlefield. When in training, he runs into some old cats that has been active for many years. These men shape up the soldiers in training by explaining and demonstrating what can happen to a man in battle.

Author: Victoria Aveyard
Genre: Young Adult

I as a young adult, recomend this book full heartedly. It brings two whole different worlds together Fantasy and Reality. I also recommend using a audio book while reading. I believe that it brings the story more to life and makes it more fun for the reader. Victoria Aveyard was able to create a world of non fiction, that comes to life as soon as you read it. It shows you how nothing could turn into something and how love can turn to hate in moments.

Why did I eat that?
Judi wants to be the thinnest girl in school, she thinks she too fat and her thighs are too “creamy” she thinks she too fat to be pretty and have a boyfriend. Her goal is to be the skinniest of them all and be in a relationship. She may have to lead herself into trouble of way she tried to lose weight.
I would recommend this book to people all ages because Fat Chance suggests the extent of eating and body-image disorders among seemingly healthy girls; it also shows the importance of professional help. Judi's convincing “voice and true-to-life experiences”  this book made an impression on me because this is a 13-year-old girl worried about how fat she is. She's and weighs 127. I'm 18 years and I'm 5’3 and ½ and I weigh more than 130. So if she's calling herself “fat” then I should be calling myself “obese”. it's not just that, she thinks “fat people”  aren't meant to be pretty and have relationships and etc.
I would recommend this book to children ages 10-16 years old. Kids nowadays worry about calories if they're too fat or if they look too fat. They're always worried about weight or appearance. In that age group, we should not be worried about those types of things. I'm 18 years old and I have grown adults telling me I'm too young to be on diet and I should be worried about the basics; such as school and homework.

Throughout the story Hamlet by Shakespeare, It was the continuous failures that push hamlet to the edge, Hamlet went through many different tragedies from seeing his father's ghost, Refusing love because of his mother's actions and pushing Ophelia to a massive break down.

Hamlets father ( Old King Hamlet ) was killed sadly and quietly by Hamlets uncle who is now the new king ( King Claudius )  who married Hamlets mother. Old King Hamlet came back as a ghost to tell Hamlet who committed his murder and to get revenge. Hamlet plans to make a play and states a line that threatens Claudius in a way that he only knew, to prove Hamlet knew he was his father's killer. Claudius, Got upset and was planning to kill Hamlet before he was able to. Hamlet falls in love with Ophelia but pushes her away because of his mother's actions. Her marrying so Quickly and especially marrying her husband's killer got Hamlet in an uproar. Claudius sent hamlet away but he managed to figure out a way to come back alive. After Ophelia dying Laertes plans to kill him in their fencing match. Claudius makes a poisoned drink that was supposed to be for hamlet which led to Gertrude ( Claudius wife and Hamlets mother ) drinking it and dying. The plan on Hamlets murder didn't  go so well they all ended up dying somehow.

My option on hamlet is that it's good a lot easier to understand the movie and the English half on the book the Shakespeare's part was very hard and not easy to comprehend. I connect with hamlet and I feel what he's going though. If I was him I would be having a hard time to anyone would. Being upset about my father's death while his mother is already remarried,  being scared about being killed, or being upset for killing someone on accident especially his loves father. There is a lot of stuff going on in the book but not too much that it's overwhelming or not enough that you're bored. I would recommend this book to people in high school that are juniors or seniors it's a little bit challenging for anyone younger than that. Also for people that like the Shakespearean language.

Throughout hamlets failures and tragedies he still made his life the best that it could be and tried to figure out and make the best of the situation that he could of.

I would recommend this book the UFC Encyclopedia by Thomas Gerbasi to anyone who is a fan of the UFC.

The book I am reading is the UFC encyclopedia, which is a book about everything you want to know about the UFC and its fighters

The author is Thomas Gerbasi. I have been reading this book the whole year so far and I like it. It just talks about all the fighters and gives all their stats. The book lets me know every fighters height, weight and even where they are from. I like this book because it really helps me get to know everything about the UFC. This book is interesting because it talks about a lot of each fighters biggest fights and how they came to becoming such good fighter. This book is great because if you like stats and stuff it tells you everything including wins, loses and even how they won (K.O., submission, TKO). The UFC is really on the up rise around the world and is becoming one of the most famous sports around the globe. I hope they made this book in other languages to because they could certainly sell this book in other countries. One of my favorite fighters is Jon Jones. His brother is Chandler Jones who played for the New England Patriots two seasons ago. Jon Jones is a very good fighter but has had a rough career due to drug related issues. He is one of the UFC best fighters but he is having trouble getting into fight as he is not allowed when failing drug test. Jon Jones is 6'4 and weighs 205 lbs. His record is 22-1 and 9 of his wins came by knock out.

Id recommend this book to people who watch the UFC or are trying to follow the sport that's it. If you don't follow the UFC this book is certainly not for you. Those are some thing about the book UFC encyclopedia that I like. And all around I like this book too.

Under the tarnished dome

This book shows how Notre Dame football lost what it was really known for. Notre Dame was always known for doing everything right. If anyone did anything wrong they weren't accepted. But then they decided to hire a coach who was off the rails. This coach after being hired was photographed putting an official in a headlock during a game. A lot of people were upset with the hiring of this coach its like Notre Dame just changed what they believed in and all they cared about was winning. I think it was a good idea to hire that coach. You hire them to help win you games. It is better for the school if they are seen as a top school for football, yes the coach may not go by the book but he helps win games. And if they are winning they are going to be able to recruit better players and keep there school as a top school. From what I've read from this book i would definitely recommend this book. It is a good story on how sometimes you have to take a risk if you want to see good results. Taking risks in sports is what its all about you can't just play it safe all game and expect to win. Expecially if you are versing teams who are of equal or better skill level. To beat those teams you have to be able to catch them off gaurd. That's why teams are starting to use trick plays more often because it catches the other team off gaurd. Yes it is taking a big risk but the outcome can be incredible. By playing it safe you could get a short run but taking the risk of going long may not be as efficent but the potential to score on that play is a lot higher.
